Asotel equipment was presented in the 11-th international conference: “Modern network technologies. Construction of the protective channels of the exchange of information”

The 11-th international conference “Modern network technologies. Construction of the protective channels of the exchange of information” took place from 1 till 5 of October. The organizer is company “Vector” under the aegis of National Organization of special connection and the protection of the information in Ukraine. The information partner of the conference was Publishing House “Koimzdat”. The conference took place in Crimea in the hotel “Assol”, that is situated in Simeiz.
    This time organizers not only managed to extend the themes of the conference, but the round of the participants. Not only operator and productions hardware and software, integrators were interested in themes of the conference, but users of the telecommunication services. Among the participants of the conference were representatives of:

Participants of the press-briefing, executive director of “Vector” Valentin Vakula, director of the regional department of the company in Kiev Andrei Linnik and senior security consultant Aleksei Grebenuk (Sysnet, Ireland), accented the attention that the lack of modern legislative base and coordinated standards in the area of the protection of the information do the damage both to the business and to the State. That’s why one of the main object of the conference consisted of to value the conditions of the business to protect the information, to realize how to be develop the market in this segment, and to produce the recommendations for the according administrative organs. What about market offers, today it’s not enough to sell HS canals, it’s necessary to give a set of safety network services.

    The theme of the first day of the conference is “National politic of Ukraine in the area of safety of the information”.                 
 

The work of the conference begins from the report of the representative of National enterprise “Ukrainian particularized systems” Kharchenko Leonid Sergeevich “The problems of the national system of the confidential connection and the status of its creating”. The reporter marked that the lack of the real offers of accordance of the particularized safety telecommunication service in the telecommunication market of Ukraine determine the decision of the State to create modern integral safety from unapproved access to the telecommunication system of dual appointment.

In the report of Vladimir Tikhonov the leader of the consulting company “Laboratory of Kasperskiy” in Ukraine, there were illustrated the reasons of the rise of the delinquency in the network and showed the advantages of company products. Mr. Tikhonov told about the innovative safety technologies worked up of the company – the control of the activity of the application (HIPS), “Whitelisting ”, search of the vulnerabilities and new antivirus nucleus. “It’s important to know not that harmful program know your PC, it’s important to control that your computer does”, - accentuated Mr. Tikhonov.

   

The most interest for the present people was the presentation of Aleksei Belkin, the leader of the department of target setting of the company «Agnitum» (Russia, Saint-Petersburg). There were dedicated to the problems of informational safety inside of organization and given by the Internet provider, and also to the features of the antivirus software Agnitum in every occasion (Outpost Network Security 3.0, Outpost Security Service Pro). Radmin – is a new method of safety remote administration – this theme was presented by Anton Levchuk from Farmatech company. The report of the representative of the company “Bacotech” Konstantin Zdybel, illustrated the decisions of McAfee as a part of integrated safety system.

     
   

	Second day of the conference there were discussed the problem “Safety of the corporative traffic in different networks transmission of the information.  Problems and methods of solution.” The meeting was opened by the manager of sales of Billion Electric Co., Ltd. representative office in Russia, Vladimir Birukov. The theme of his report was “BILLION BiGuard IPSec & SSL VPN Product & Solutions" - secure remote access from anywhere and anytime”. Vladimir Birukov told about the history of the development of the company Billion, its structure, offices and production facilities at the modern point. And also about production and decisions of the company for the secure remote access to the corporative network from the any place in any time.
	Next report was made by Roman Malik, technical director of the company “Vector”, was dedicate to the building of multilevel VPN in the networks for general use on the base of Billion products. In his report he illustrated differences and features of protocols IPSec and SSL, he told about characteristics and schemes of routers BiGuard 2 and BiGuard 10 application in the networks for general use. Roman Malik cited as an example of the possible application VPN router of the insurance companies, banks, corporations and small companies to protect the important information. The culmination of the report was the demonstration of the working routers BiGuard 2 и BiGuard 10. Between them was built secure IPSec tunnel to pass information. And the other thing is work according the protocol SSL with the corporative route of the company “Vector” BiGuard S10.
	Then, there were the report of Konstantin Zdybel, the representative of the company “Bacotech” dedicated to DeviceLock software for the control firstly removable devices, such as USB drive, CD/DVD discs and other variants of transport of the information, probably, that carries commercial secret.

Juliya Ovrutskaya from Telnet Service company, present the report about the construction of the virtual networks of the enterprise on the base of supporting networks of national operators. The engineer of technical support of the company “Vector” Valerii Borodin told about technologies of visual networks, starting with SONET/SDH and finishing with CWDM/DWDM and PON (GEPON). Also it was examined the problem of transport technologies of the access and basis supervisory controlled technologies (VLAN, Q-in-Q, STP/RSTP, OSPF, MPLS). The representative of the company MTC Urii Konorev presented to the guests and participants of the conference the service “MTC Connect” – wireless 3G Internet on the base of CDMA technology.

In the context of practical part of this day routers of Billion were put to the test that imitated DDos attacks. These tests are used of “Agnitum” for the testing of quality and stability of Outpost Firewall Pro and Outpost Security Suite Pro products against the networks attacks. During the testing routers of Billion (BiGuard 2, BiGuard 10) showed an excellent productivity during the imitation DDos attack on WAN channels with the capacity till 10 Mb/s. They were demonstrated not only a stable work, but they allowed to provide the work of clients computers, that are under the protection of the routers with the Internet network at the time of mentioned tests. Besides, their interesting feather can be named as successful work algorithms with the difficult fragmented packages, that provide a stable work in the network even when the channel is overloaded or low-quality.  

Theme of the last day of the conference - Convergence of services at the conditions of heterogeneity of networks of transmission of the information began with the report of Aleksei Grebenuk, the representative of the company “Sysnet”, Ireland on the theme of “Transportation of sensitive content to the networks for general use. Problems and claims of national standards”.

In his report, Mr. Grebenuk, told about standard PCI DSS, the only standard of the security of the information, supported by all cards systems. The report of the representative of Adobe in Ukraine Daniila Kluchnikova illustrated the theme of “Adobe LiveCycle - boundless opportunities for the documents circulation and Adobe Connect for the easy and fast distance learning” The next theme is “Decisions of Citrix for the acceleration and optimization delivery of applications to the branch offices with the minimum expenses”. The reporter – Maksim Dzumanenko from “Softprom”.

  As a tradition at the end of every working day there were a round table, summing-up and the interesting entertainment program (visit of the Inkerman factory of the vintage wine, Nikita’s botanical gardens)
